Franci Blašković, completely ignoring the English language as the official language of the festival, by his specific language-game, performed a multinational party in a groove in the middle of the island. A cheerful gang, a pot of beans as the symbol of the melting pot of contemporary culture, and thinking about it they see it as a symbol, well, of itself.

23 participants from 11 countries (Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Croatia, Hungary, Macedonia, the Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Slovakia and Slovenia).

Additional program was more extensive than in 1996:
- land art performances by Eva Andrea Szöcs and Zvjezdana Jembrih
- a poetical performance by Sonja Mitrinovska
- concerts by Dunja Knebl (a new album review), Franci Blašković and a rock-band Last Expedition.
- Multimedia music, poetry and video performances by a Netherlands-Belgium-Switzerland project "Millennium" (Serge van Duijhoven site).
